BEFORE CAPTIVITY

Discover the prophets who lived during the final days of Yahudah’s kingdom—HuldaYAHU, who confirmed judgment under King Josiah, and Iddo, who prophesied generations earlier in the divided-kingdom era of Rehoboam and Abijah. This study traces their role in warning a nation already under judgment, preparing the way for the Babylonian captivity decreed by 𐀉𐀄𐀅𐀄 (YaHU’aH).

Though Asa became angry and imprisoned him, HananiYAHU’s courage demonstrated the unwavering duty of a true prophet to speak the word of YaHU’aH regardless of consequence. His legacy of boldness and truth continued through his sons, including YehuyAL (Jehu) the prophet who later confronted King Baasha and King Yahoshaphat. Hulda’s prophetic accuracy and authority reveal the vital role of consecrated women in the nation’s restoration and their place as vessels of 𐀉𐀄𐀅𐀄’s truth in times of apostasy.
