SLAIN IN THE "SPIRIT"

The Truth

For years many of us grew up in church houses watching what we were told was the “holy spirit” move on people. And what did we witness? Someone suddenly shaking as though struck by lightning, another falling over backwards as if their very bones gave out, another screaming in unintelligible sounds, running through aisles, tumbling into others, collapsing onto the floor with their clothes disarranged. For decades, this was sold as the “power of the spirit.”

But if you open the scrolls, if you study the true history of the consecrated ones of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YaHU’aH), you find nothing like it. Not once. There is no record of Dawid (David) collapsing uncontrollably when the Breath of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YaHU’aH) moved on him. Instead, he leapt walls, defeated giants, and wrote songs of esteem with clarity. There is no record of Samson rolling on the floor when the Ruach (Breath) came upon him. Instead, he tore lions apart and slew armies with the jawbone of a donkey. There is no record of Dani’AL (Daniel) foaming at the mouth in a frenzy. Instead, he calmly stood in Babylon and interpreted dreams without the dreamer making it known.

When Ruach ha’Qodash (the consecrated Breath of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 [YaHU’aH]) falls on a man or woman, it does not strip away their dignity. It does not reduce them to spectacle. It empowers them beyond the limits of their flesh. It sharpens their mind, strengthens their body, opens their mouth with wisdom, and causes them to stand as witnesses before rulers, enemies, and nations. As 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤉𐤏 (Yahusha) promised: “But you will receive power after Ruach ha’Qodash has come upon you, and you will be witnesses unto Me both in Yarushalayim (Jerusalem), and in all Yahudah (Judah), and in Shamaron (Samaria), and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

Power to witness—not to faint. Power to stand—not to flop. Power to speak the Word with boldness—not to grunt in meaningless noise. Power to heal the sick, open the eyes of the blind, cast out unclean breaths, proclaim liberty to captives. Not power to knock women down, send dresses flying, or make assemblies look like chaotic theaters.

The sad truth is what has been paraded in churches for generations is not the Breath of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YaHU’aH) at all. It is a demonic counterfeit. A curse, passed down from rebellion. An emotional frenzy stirred by music, environment, and unclean breaths seeking to make a mockery of the true consecrated power. This is why people “catch” it suddenly, randomly, with no root in understanding, no edification, no clarity. This is why it looks more like possession than empowerment. And possession is exactly what it is—but not by the AL’mighty (Mighty One).

Contrast this with the consecrated record. When the Ruach (Breath) fell in Acts 2, the people spoke in languages they never learned, but they were coherent, clear, and understood by others: “Every man heard them speak in his own language” (Acts 2:6). There was no confusion, no chaos. Instead, the power of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YaHU’aH) broke the barrier of nations. When AliYAHU (Elijah) outran Ahab’s chariot, it was because the Breath quickened his mortal body with divine endurance (1 Kings 18:46). When YashaYAHU (Isaiah) saw the throne, he did not roll on the ground; he declared the majesty of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YaHU’aH) with trembling awe (YashaYAHU 6:1–8).

The line is clear. The true Breath empowers, steadies, and elevates. The counterfeit breath confuses, humiliates, and degrades. One honors 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YaHU’aH). The other entertains men while binding them in deception.

So, I stand to warn: do not mistake the emotional highs of cursed assemblies for the Ruach ha’Qodash. Do not be deceived by the wild theatrics of a false breath passed down through rebellion. If the fruit is confusion, spectacle, and loss of control, it is not of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YaHU’aH). If the fruit is power, boldness, clarity, wisdom, endurance, and supernatural strength, it is the true witness of His Breath.

The time is late, and the deception is thick. But 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YaHU’aH) has always left a remnant who can discern the difference between truth and lie, between consecration and confusion, between His Ruach and the breath of deception. Test the breaths. Weigh them against the Word. And remember: His Breath never humiliates His people—it consecrates and empowers them to do what no flesh could ever do alone.
