COVENANT LAND VS. REFUGE LAND: A NECESSARY DISTINCTION

It is crucial to understand the difference between the eternal covenant land promised to Abraham and his descendants, and the temporary refuge prepared for a scattered remnant.
The covenant land, first delineated in B're'shith (Genesis) 15:18–21 and confirmed as an “everlasting possession” in B're'shith (Genesis) 17:8, is the land of Canaan — the true Promised Land — with Yarushalayim at its center. This is the inheritance of the twelve tribes of Yashar’al and the appointed seat of YAHUSHA’s future reign.
THE TEN TRIBES’ MIGRATION TO ARZARETH: A DIVINE JOURNEY OF PRESERVATION

The journey of the Ten Tribes of the Northern Kingdom to Arzareth, as recorded in 2 Esdras 13:40–46, was not merely a migration — it was a supernatural act of preservation directed by AL Alyon. After being carried away captive by the Assyrians around 722 BCE, these tribes—Re’uven, Shimon, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Yissakhar, Zebulun, Ephrayim, and Menashsheh—took counsel among themselves to leave the multitude of the Gentiles and seek a distant land where they could finally obey the Torah they had long neglected.
FURTHER TRUTH: WHY ARZARETH CANNOT BE AMERICA

Many have proposed that Arzareth, the land described in 2 Esdras 13:41–46, refers to the Americas. However, a closer reading of the text and examination of history proves this cannot be the case. The Ten Tribes of the Northern Kingdom were prophesied to journey, by foot, to a region “where never mankind dwelt.” This uninhabited condition is central to the identification of Arzareth — yet the Americas were populated for millennia before the Assyrian exile.
The Migration and Preservation of Yashar’al in Africa

One of the greatest overlooked truths in prophecy and history is that Africa—especially Sub-Saharan Africa—became the central region where all Twelve Tribes of Yashar’al were regathered over time. This was not by accident, but by divine orchestration.
Although 2 Esdras 13:41–46 records the journey of the Ten Tribes to Arzareth, it does not say that every single member of each tribe went on that journey. In fact, the Scriptures confirm that a faithful remnant from the Northern Tribes—those who rejected the idolatry of Yarob’am—migrated to Yahudah, Binyamin, and Lewi before the Assyrian captivity, merging into the Southern Kingdom.
THE BANTU EXPANSION AND ARZARETH’S SETTLEMENT

The historical phenomenon known as the Bantu Expansion provides a compelling framework for understanding how many descendants of the Twelve Tribes—particularly those identified with Lewi, Yissakhar, and Zebulun—repopulated large portions of Sub-Saharan Africa after the scattering. Originating from a nucleus in West Africa (modern-day Nigeria/Cameroon), the Bantu migrations began around 2000 BCE and expanded southward and eastward over centuries, spanning thousands of miles and traversing diverse terrains.
External Hostility, Prophetic Confirmation & Regathering

After centuries of covenant migration into Africa, many tribes of Yashar’al were preserved across regions such as Nigeria, Ghana, Angola, Congo, Uganda, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. These were not accidental wanderings, but the result of divine judgment, prophetic scattering, and covenant survival.
THE TRUE LOCATION AND STATE OF YARUSHALAYIM

Understanding the true location and state of Yarushalayim is paramount. The Yarushalayim spoken of in Scripture—the heart of the covenant land of Canaan—is currently desolate and hidden, awaiting both its prophesied restoration and the return of the covenant people. It is entirely distinct from modern cities claiming its name, particularly the falsely labeled Middle Eastern city.
YashaYAHU (Isaiah) 64:10 declares: “Your set-apart cities are a wilderness, Tsiyon has become a wilderness, Yarushalayim a desolation.” This desolation is the direct result of disobedience, idolatry, and exile. Yet the promise of renewal stands firm. Tehillim (Psalms) 48:2 praises its eternal significance: “Beautiful for elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Tsiyon, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.”
CANAAN REVEALED: THE TRUE PROMISED LAND IN SOUTHERN AFRICA

The historical and prophetic evidence overwhelmingly confirms that the true land of Canaan is located in Southern Africa — particularly in the region encompassing present-day South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, and Zimbabwe.
PROPHETIC MAP OF THE PROMISED LAND

Map Description
Envision a conceptual map illustrating the distinct geographical and spiritual realities described in Scripture. The central focus of this map is the Southern African desert region, specifically the Kalahari Desert, which has begun transforming into a fertile and habitable zone through the provision of YaHU’aH. Spanning approximately 900,000 km², this once desolate area is experiencing measurable greening (15% increase recorded by 2024), making it a prophetic focal point of restoration.
Key Features to Illustrate Within or Near the Region:
AMERICA IS NOT ARZARETH — IT IS MYSTERY BABYLON

The identification of America as the final “Mystery Babylon” described in scripture—particularly in texts like 2 Esdras 15:46 (interpreted alongside Revelation 17–18)—is central to understanding the specific exile experience of the Southern Kingdom tribes, Yahudah and Binyamin. This framework asserts that America represents the ultimate land of captivity in the latter days, distinct from the temporary Arzareth refuge described for the Northern Kingdom. Crucially, this interpretation affirms that prior to the horrors of the transatlantic slave trade (roughly 1441–1888), there were no tribes of Ya’aqob in the Americas. The indigenous populations, though suffering in their own right, have separate origins and do not bear the specific prophetic curses detailed in the Torah for Yashar’al.
