SPEAKING IN TONGUES
The Truth
Exposing the lie of tongues and revealing the true work of the Breath of π€π€π€ π€ (YaHU’aH) requires stripping away the layers of confusion planted by the adversary. From the beginning, ha’satan (the adversary) has sought to twist language and distort the work of Ruach ha’Qodash (the consecrated Breath of π€π€π€ π€ [YaHU’aH])—burying the truth under church doctrines, performances, and traditions of men. Yet the Word of π€π€π€ π€ (YaHU’aH) unmasks the falsehood and restores the true witness of the Ruach of Amat (Truth).
The story of Chanah in 1 Samu’AL 1:10–13 reveals what it truly means to petition in the Ruach. Chanah poured out her anguish before π€π€π€ π€ (YaHU’aH); her lips moved, but no sound came forth. Ali (Eli), seeing her, thought she was drunk because he heard nothing. Yet in her silence, π€π€π€ π€ (YaHU’aH) heard everything. This was a petition in the Ruach: inward groaning, unseen and unheard by men, but fully received by the AL’uah (Mighty One) who searches the heart. This aligns perfectly with Romans 8:26–27, where Sha’ul (Paul) testifies: “The Ruach Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Ruach is, because He makes intercession for the consecrated ones according to the will of π€π€π€ π€ (YaHU’aH).” The phrase “cannot be uttered” leaves no room for moaning, babbling, or chanting. It is silent. Petition in the Ruach is beyond human words, not beneath them. The churches mock this truth when they turn it into noise. They teach that being filled with the Ruach means babbling in ecstatic sounds, yet Scripture reveals the opposite: the intercession of the Ruach is silent, unseen, and unutterable.
The twisting deepens when Sha’ul’s (Paul’s) teaching in 1 Corinthians 12–14 is misunderstood. In the ancient Hebrew understanding, “tongue” refers simply to a spoken language, a speech of a people that carries meaning and origin. When Sha’ul speaks of tongues, he is speaking of real human languages, not mystical babble. He explains clearly: “There are, it may be, so many kinds of languages in the world, and none of them is without significance. Therefore, if I do not know the meaning of the language, I shall be a foreigner to him who speaks” (1 Corinthians 14:10–11). Tongues are meaningful languages; without understanding, they do not build up. That is why Sha’ul commands that if one speaks in a tongue, there must be an interpreter. If none is present, the speaker must remain silent. Prophecy is greater because it speaks directly and clearly to all. The “church” has reversed this order, elevating gibberish over prophecy, noise over understanding, and chaos over order. Yet Sha’ul concludes firmly: “Let all things be done decently and in order” (1 Corinthians 14:40).
When the Ruach (Breath) was poured out in Acts 2, it was not babble. Hebrews from Galil (Galilee), untrained in foreign tongues, suddenly spoke in the languages of Parthians, Medes, Elamites, Egyptians, Arabians, and more. The multitude testified, “How is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born?” (Acts 2:8). The miracle was in the speaking, not in the hearing. π€π€π€ π€ (YaHU’aH) gave His people the ability to proclaim His mighty works in real languages without training. This fulfilled the prophecy: “With men of other tongues and other lips I will speak to this people; and yet, for all that, they will not hear Me” (YashaYAHU (Isaiah) 28:11), cited by Sha’ul in 1 Corinthians 14:21. The same reality confronted Sha’ul’s assemblies. Corinth was a mixed gathering of Hebrews, Greeks, Romans, and others. If someone spoke in their native tongue, most would not understand. That is why interpretation was essential. Today’s counterfeit tongues deny this plain witness. The church promotes noise no one can understand and calls it the evidence of the Ruach, but in truth it is the evidence of confusion. π€π€π€ π€ (YaHU’aH) is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33).
π€π€π€ π€π€π€ (Yahusha) Himself explained that the Ruach of Amat (Truth) would not be poured out upon the world: “The Ruach of Amat, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you” (Yahuchanan (John) 14:17). The Ruach is not given to the masses, nor to those who merely profess belief while walking in disobedience. The Ruach of Amat is reserved for those called and sent by π€π€π€ π€ (YaHU’aH), those who live in obedient belief. π€π€π€ π€π€π€ (Yahusha) petitioned in Yahuchanan (John) 17:14–16 that His followers are “not of the world, just as I am not of the world.” Outside of the covenant, one is of the world, even if they claim belief. Yahuchanan (John) 3:36 declares: “He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of AL’uah (Mighty One) abides on him.” True belief is obedient belief. This is why the church, camp members, and the alike—being of the world—cannot receive the Ruach of Amat. They perform, shout, and babble, but they do not walk in real covenant obedience. They have the wrath of π€π€π€ π€ (YaHU’aH) abiding in them. Not His Breath of Truth!
The contrast is striking. Chanah petitioned in silence, and π€π€π€ π€ (YaHU’aH) heard. Sha’ul (Paul) spoke of silent groanings too deep for words. Dawid (David) lifted up psalms that were both Ruach-breathed and intelligible. π€π€π€ π€π€π€ (Yahusha) Himself often withdrew to commune quietly with the ABaH (Father). Meanwhile, the churches manufacture spectacles: lights, cameras, music, emotional shows, and babbling tongues. They replace the still intercession of the Ruach with noise that draws attention to themselves. This is not the Ruach of π€π€π€ π€ (YaHU’aH) but the breath of confusion, a tool of ha’satan (the adversary).
By teaching that speaking in tongues means babbling, churches lead people into defeat. They convince believers that evidence of the Ruach is found in meaningless sound, while they neglect obedience, truth, and the silent intercession that only π€π€π€ π€ (YaHU’aH) hears. This mocks the Ruach of Amat, who was promised only to the obedient. It mocks the truth of Scripture, which always ties tongues to real languages. It mocks the committed remnant, who quietly petition in the Ruach without performance.
π€π€π€ π€π€π€ (Yahusha) warned: “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it” (MatithYAHU (Matthew) 7:13). The broad way of the churches is loud, crowded, and full of show. The narrow way of π€π€π€ π€π€π€ (Yahusha) is consecrated, silent when necessary, and always obedient. The Ruach of π€π€π€ π€ (YaHU’aH) is not noise. He is the Breath of AL’mighty (Mighty One), unseen and unheard by the world, interceding within the hearts of the chosen with groanings beyond words. Tongues are not gibberish but real languages, given as a sign and tool to proclaim the greatness of π€π€π€ π€ (YaHU’aH) to every nation.
The Ruach of Amat (Truth) is not for the world but for those who walk in obedient covenant belief. The churches, being ha’satan’s (the adversary’s) centers of confusion, twist these truths into spectacles. But the Word stands: π€π€π€ π€ (YaHU’aH) hears the silent petition, the Ruach intercedes beyond utterance, and π€π€π€ π€π€π€ (Yahusha) promised the Ruach of Amat only to His own. Therefore, flee from the mockery of noise and confusion. Turn to the simplicity of truth: to walk in obedient belief, to let the Ruach of π€π€π€ π€ (YaHU’aH) intercede where words cannot, and to lift petitions not for the ears of men but for the throne of AL’uah (Mighty One).
