Stockpiling for the Great Tribulation: The Ultimate Survival Guide

Published on 11 August 2025 at 22:00

In an age where the whispers of tribulation have become a deafening roar, a chilling paradigm has taken root: survival is a matter of stockpiles and strategy. The modern believer, haunted by prophecies of famine and collapse, often trades divine trust for human logic. But what if this desperate preparation is not a fortress against the coming storm, but a surrender to the very fear we are commanded to overcome? This is a journey to dismantle the worldly anxieties that have been weaponized against faith, revealing that the true preparation for the end times has nothing to do with what we possess, but with who possesses us.

The Weapon of Fear and Control

As with all truth spoken and demonstrated in the Word, the wicked manipulate the facts to drive readers toward rebellion. The most effective way they do this is through fear, a primary tool of manipulation and control. If those who control the narrative can instill terror in your heart, they can lead you down any path they desire. When it comes to the Word, there is nothing more effective than using scripture out of context to accomplish this task, and this tactic is pervasive. This is why media is 99% fear-based, with every wicked and vile thing making the headlines and staying on the air. They know that most people navigate their lives by what is projected on a screen—from the tell-a-vision to the digital leaflets carried by most people, they ensure there is no shortage of horror displayed to captivate and control your mind. This constant barrage of fear and anxiety is designed to make you feel powerless and desperate, making you susceptible to solutions that are based on human logic rather than divine trust. This is the very essence of the "father of lies" at work, twisting a partial truth to provoke a reaction rooted in fear instead of a response rooted in belief.

Misguided Survival Tactics

This pervasive fear is why many feel the need to stockpile supplies, believing that their own efforts can ensure their survival through what is coming. They are convinced that a coming economic collapse, natural disaster, or societal breakdown will leave them stranded and defenseless without a massive personal inventory of food, water, and weapons. And even worse, it's why so-called truth-telling ministers offer strategic guides for surviving the Great Tribulation. From stocking a little at a time to full-blown survival tactics, they claim to provide "divine insight" to ensure you are prepared. But here’s the thing: it's apparent that none of these "doomsday preppers" were ever sent by YaHU'aH, the one who knows all. They often use stories like the seven-year famine in Egypt to justify their own fear, twisting the narrative to warn you to try to acquire seven years' worth of supplies. Sadly, their misplaced and rearranged truth is leading them and those who follow them toward the very thing they hope to avoid—the judgment that comes from a lack of belief and a reliance on human provision instead of on the living AL'uah.

Yahusaph Example vs. Modern Fear

When Yahusaph interpreted Pharaoh's dream, he was given an explicit timeline: seven years to prepare for a seven-year famine. This was a specific, divine warning with a clear mandate. Not only was there a clear time clock, but during the years of preparation, there was no hopeful wish or thoughtful expectation that the needs would be supplied; everything required to obey and endure came about through divine provision that was definitive and undeniable. The warning, the instructions, and the means to make it happen were all in sync. This is what many miss about the tone of today's so-called survival guides and experts. Yahusaph was not moving on past experiences, hopeful expectations, or a best-thought-out plan. He was acting on a direct word from YaHU'aH. The objective and the means to achieve it were definitive. This is not what people are being told today, and they will pay dearly for it. The modern approach is based on human speculation and fear, not a direct command from YaHU'aH. It is a stark contrast to a mind that trusts YaHU'aH to provide in ways that defy human logic.

Yahusha’s Warning: Trust, Not Tactics

When Yahusha warned of the Great Tribulation, He gave no strategic guide for stockpiling, bunker building, or weapon tactics. He did not lead them to believe that with certain logical steps, they would successfully navigate the coming storm. Instead, He said, “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars, see that you are not troubled, for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows” (MattithYAHU 24:6–8).

Yahusha warned them that while news of wars, sickness, lack of food, and earthquakes goes out across the world, they should not become fearful or troubled. He knew that it was when we live in fear that human logic makes sense, and those who have proven themselves to be ministers of fear and dread begin to sound sensible to the frightened. He wanted them to understand that these events are not a cause for panic, but a signal that the end is drawing near. The appropriate response is not to plan for physical survival, but to hold firm to their belief and trust in His promised deliverance.

The Disciple’s Real Issue

During the entire time the disciples walked with Yahusha, you never heard them lacking in any physical need. That's because everything was taken care of. These were men who left jobs and family and never went without. Yahusha consistently provided for them, even to the point of miraculously feeding thousands with a few loaves and fish. However, what they lacked was belief and understanding. They often doubted and couldn’t grasp what was being taught, as seen in their confusion and fear during storms, or their struggle to understand the parables. This was their real issue. Not a lack of physical needs, but an inward lack of trust. This is where many will fall victim to the false hope of doomsday prepping—they prioritize a physical safety that is fleeting over the inner loyalty that is eternal. By focusing on earthly provisions, they are preparing for the very judgment that will come upon them for their lack of trust.

The Final Choice

Yahusha and Dani'AL both warned of the tribulation that will lead to the end of this age. Both made it clear that it will be a time of trouble the world has never seen before. Why? This will be the final line drawn in eternity, where there will no longer be an opportunity to straddle the line between obedience and disobedience, evil and righteousness, the Law and the Lawless. You will be left with one of two options: serve YaHU'aH with all your heart, or serve satan. Mankind will no longer be able to pretend, using their skill, wit, and understanding to dance between the two. This is why Revelation warns that there will be no means to buy or sell unless one receives the beast’s mark, name, or number. This is the ultimate test of faith: one's very livelihood, according to the course of this world, will mandate that they hand their soul over to the lake of fire to maintain their means of survival. This is why Yahusha never offered a step-by-step process to walk through these coming times based on human reason; the only true path is complete faith.

The Last Exodus: A Call to Come Out of Babel

The more they adorn their cities, their houses, their possessions, and their persons, the more angry I will be with them for their sins, says YaHU’aH (2 Esdras 16:48). Those who belong to YaHU’aH are not called to join in the madness of building and adorning Babel, nor to find security in what will soon be judged. We are called to prepare for the Last Exodus—not by stockpiling goods or seeking safety in human fortresses, but by coming out of the sins, ways, and systems of Babel entirely. YaHU’aH’s command is clear: “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and AL’uah has remembered her iniquities” (Revelation 18:4–5). This is not a suggestion but a command tied directly to survival in His covenant.

The Last Exodus will mirror the first. Just as YaHU’aH called His people out of Mitsrayim with a mighty hand (Shemoth 12:41–42), He will once again gather His people from every land where they have been scattered (YarmiYAHU 23:7–8, Micah 7:15). The preparation He requires is not hoarding supplies but cleansing ourselves from every defilement, walking in obedience, and trusting Him to lead us through the wilderness to the land He swore to our fathers (Yahazq'AL 20:33–38).

YaHU’aH warns that the allure of Babel is not just its idols, but its lifestyle—luxury, excess, and pride. “For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury” (Revelation 18:3). To prepare for the Last Exodus is to reject these entanglements and walk in the consecrated simplicity of the covenant. Those who truly prepare are those who obey His voice: “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow YaHU’aH will do wonders among you” (Yahoshua 3:5). They put their trust in His provision, remembering that in the wilderness their garments did not wear out, nor did their feet swell for forty years (Dabarim 8:4), because YaHU’aH Himself sustained them. To stay in Babel is to invite judgment; to come out is to align with the promise. The Last Exodus is not merely a movement of bodies, but of hearts and minds—a complete separation from the sins, systems, and securities of this world, walking by belief in YaHU’aH alone.

Divine Food, Not Physical Stockpiles

Interestingly, as He closes out the breakdown about the Great Tribulation, He makes reference to food. He declares, “Who then is a loyal and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? Barak is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. Truly I say to you that he will make him ruler over all His goods.” What the Messiah points out in His final warning is that there will be loyal and wise servants, as well as unwise ones who lack true loyalty. He said that those who are loyal and wise will feed the people the right food at the right time. And He wasn't talking about a physical stash they have stored up, but the well of living water that flows from the throne of Shamayim, out of the belly of the obedient to the divine. These are the leaders made rulers of His house who understand that all the needs of the obedient are always met by YaHU'aH. They are called to provide divine nourishment and guidance to the people during a time of immense inner famine. Their sustenance will be the truth of His Word, not the perishable goods of this world.

Divine Provision, Not Human Logic

As King Dawid proclaims, throughout his life, he never saw the righteous forsaken or their seed begging for bread (Tahilliym 37:25). Why not? Because the AL’Mighty promised never to leave nor forsake His people (Yahoshua 1:5, Ibrim 13:5), and that no one who trusts in Him will ever be put to shame (Romiyim 10:11, YashaYAHU 49:23). Never witnessing shame while walking with YaHU’aH does not mean we will not see challenges. It means that while 1,000 will fall at your side and 10,000 at your right hand, it will not come near you (Tahilliym 91:7). Only with your eyes will you see the reward of the wicked, the unbeliever, the fearful, and the rebellious, as you walk fearlessly through the valley of the shadow of death (Tahilliym 23:4, Tahilliym 91:8).

Divine provision often seems illogical from a worldly perspective. The provision of manna in the wilderness (Shemoth 16:4), the oil and flour of the widow of Tsaraphath (1 Malakiym 17:14), or the provision for the prophets hidden in caves (1 Malakiym 18:4) — all of these defied human logic and demonstrated YaHU’aH’s power to sustain His people outside of worldly systems.

When men open their mouths to tell you how to logically and strategically make it through, just know that they have become a ventriloquist for the devil.

Conclusion: A Means to the End

YaHU'aH swore a promise to Abram even before they entered Mitsrayim—“I will barak those who barak you, and I will curse those who curse you” (Barashith 12:3). When they entered the pagan land, by way of Yahusaph first, Mitsriym was overwhelmingly sustained during a seven-year famine because of how Pharaoh treated Yahusaph (Barashith 41:53–57). But when a new Pharaoh arose, the script was flipped. Mitsriym greatly oppressed the Hebrews, and every form of economic stability was crushed (Shamoth 1:8–14).

When it was time for the messenger of death to sweep the land before the exodus, YaHU’aH gave explicit instructions on how to endure and not be destroyed (Shemoth 12:1–30). It was just enough to sustain them until the time came to leave (Shemoth 12:31–36). Many, through fear, miss that the barak of preservation in hard times has always rested on obedience, not only to His Word (Dabarim 28:1–14), but also on how one honors what YaHU’aH provides them, under the truth (MalakiYAHU 3:10–12).

This is why the widow received her son back to life (1 Malakiym 17:17–24) and why her oil and flour did not run out during the famine when jezebel was causing havoc (1 Malakiym 17:8–16). She faithfully gave, even when it was her last.

The same was true for Rahab. Rather than being destroyed when Yahoshua and the army took Yaricho, she and her entire household were spared because she hid the spies (Yahoshua 2:1–21, Yahoshua 6:22–25).

The keeping always comes down to how one keeps His ways and commands (Tahilliym 103:17–18, Yahuchanan 14:15). He never commanded anyone to stockpile in exile (YarmiYAHU 29:4–7, MattithYAHU 6:19–21).

And let it be known without question that YaHU’aH has sworn concerning His elect: “I will barak those who barak you, and I will curse those who curse you” (Barashith 12:3). This covenant decree is tied specifically to how one treats the elect of YaHU’aH — those He has set apart to bear His Name and walk in His covenant. To honor, support, and act righteously toward the elect is to come under His promised barak and protection (MattithYAHU 25:40), but to oppose, exploit, or harm them is to bring oneself under His curse and wrath (ZakariYAHU 2:8–9).

I hope that ministers stop straddling the fence in their messages. Let the truth out—it is like a lion (Mashali 28:1, AmatsYAHU 3:8). It devours enemies, protects those to whom it belongs, and provides for those to whom it is entrusted (Tahilliym 91:1–16).

Ultimately, the greatest famine to come will not be for food or water, but an inner hunger for a word from YaHU'aH. In that final hour, the only enduring storehouse will be the righteousness we have stockpiled through a life of obedience and trust. This is the sole currency that will not lose its value, the only provision that cannot be plundered, and the only path through the last, greatest tribulation that will not lead to a reliance on the systems of men, but a complete dependence on the King of eternity Himself.
