A Dream, A Battle, A Revelation...
A few days before releasing my podcast, “The Truth About Progressive Christianity,” I had a horrendous dream—more accurately, a vision.

In it, a demon entirely engulfed in fire appeared inches from my face, growling and yelling in a terrifying, unrecognizable language. I told it I wasn’t afraid—but immediately, without even touching me, it flung me to the ground. My body seized. I couldn’t move at all. I was completely paralyzed.
Instinctively, I tried to call on the name “Je-sus,” but I struggled hard to speak. As I attempted to say the name I had known my whole life, the demon lifted me violently and slammed me against the ceiling. I kept wrestling, trying to free myself, trying harder to call “Je-sus,” but my mouth wouldn’t cooperate. I cried. I was trapped. Mute. Paralyzed. Desperate.
Then — through the chaos — I heard a soft voice:
“Don’t call Him Jesus. His name is Yahusha.”
That quiet voice cut through everything. Suddenly, I began to fight with every ounce of strength I had to speak His true Name. Piece by piece:
Ya… Yah… Yahu… Yahusha.
And finally, I said it — “Yahusha.”
Immediately, I was released. I fell back onto my bed. Still shaking, still working to move, I kept saying His Name — “Yahusha, Yahusha, Yahusha” — and with every repetition, my strength returned. Eventually, I felt my wife shaking me, trying to wake me up. She asked why I was calling our son Joshua. But I wasn’t calling our son. I was calling the true Name of the Son of the Most High.
I woke up drenched in sweat, exhausted, and shaken—but certain.
The Meaning Was Clear
Later, the understanding came: the enemy didn’t want me to release the podcast. He didn’t want the truth spoken. He didn’t want me to stand boldly. He wanted to silence me through fear and confusion.
And the most sobering part?
I wasn’t searching for any other name. In my heart and mind, I had no reason to question “Je-sus.” That was the name I had always called. That was the name I was taught. But in that dream—it had no power.
Why "Jesus" Was Powerless
The name “Je-sus” is not just a mistranslation — it’s a man-made invention. It didn’t exist at the time of the Messiah. There was no letter “J” in any language until the 1500s. English itself — the language that birthed this version — didn’t even exist in the time of the Messiah. There’s no ancient, inspired origin for the name “Jesus.” Only linguistic compromise.
It’s not just about etymology — it’s about authority.
When a name is transliterated from one language to another, the meaning and spiritual identity must remain intact. But those who shaped “Jesus” were pagans, operating from a worldview built on conquest, colonization, and Greco-Roman philosophy. And that’s exactly how the name was used — as a banner to enslave, conquer, and deceive.
That’s not opinion. That’s history.
His Name Is Yahusha
The Name given to Miryam (Mary) by the messenger was Hebrew — not Greek, not Latin, not English.
That Name was Yahusha — which means:
“YaHU’aH is deliverance.”
It carries the power. It carries the purpose. It carries the authority of Heaven and Earth. And in my dream, only that Name set me free.
A Final Warning
If names don’t change with language (and they don’t — my name is still William everywhere I go), then why do billions insist on changing the most important Name in all creation?
Because we were deceived.
And today, progressive Christianity, the offspring of that deception, continues to guide billions into doctrines void of context, power, or covenant. According to Pew Research, more than 4.8 billion people across Christianity, Catholicism, and Islam await the return of a “Je-sus” figure — one created by tradition, not scripture.
But demons don’t tremble at tradition. They tremble at truth.
“And it came to pass… she followed Sha’ul, crying, ‘These men proclaim the way of deliverance!’ But Sha’ul, being greatly disturbed, turned and said to the spirit, ‘I command you in the Name of Yahusha the Anointed One to come out of her!’ And it came out that same hour.” — Ma’aseh (Acts) 16:16–18
Declare the True Name — Yahusha
This was more than a dream. It was a spiritual confrontation — and a divine correction.
If we want to walk in freedom…
If we want to war in truth…
If we want to silence darkness and awaken the captives…
Then we must proclaim His true Name — Yahusha, the Set-Apart One, the Deliverer, the Son of YaHU’aH.
Otherwise, we may find ourselves spiritually bound, even while thinking we are free.
Be warned. Be set apart. Be bold. Don’t call Him Je-sus.
Call on Yahusha.
