The Truth about "I AM THAT I AM" and Why You Need To Know

YaHU’aH told Moshah, “But indeed for this reason I have raised you up, in order to show you My power, and that My Name be declared in all the earth.” Shamuth (Exodus) 9:16. And that is exactly what YaHU’aH did.

At the burning bush, Moshah said to AL’uah, “See, when I come to the children of Yashar’al and say to them, ‘The AL’uah of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His Name?’ — what shall I say to them?” And AL’uah said to Moshah, “AHAYAH ASHER AHAYAH.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Yashar’al, ‘AHAYAH has sent me to you.’” Shamuth (Exodus) 3:13–14.

What YaHU’aH told Moshah was not His Name, initially, but rather who He is—and ultimately, what He plans to do: make His Name known in all the earth—through Moshah. But here is the thing, who was Moshah? He was a vessel used to proclaim His Name—a Hebrew made to be as YaHU’aH to the Gentiles and the Hebrews. And the way YaHU’aH did this was through righteous judgment and selection. The entire story of Moshah and the Exodus was about declaring who He is—the One that exists—for His Name’s sake—proving He is the Father of proof. And that evidence started at the burning bush—an unexpected and supernatural encounter that left no mistake that it was the Creator.

And here is where the problem lies with many when reading about Moshah’s encounter. They are left at the blazing bush, rather than being carried along by the breath of YaHU’aH when He reveals His Name to the one He chose.

Then YaHU’aH said to Moshah, “Now you shall see what I (Who Exist) do to Pharaoh. For with a strong hand he shall let them go, and with a strong hand he shall drive them out of his land.” Shamuth (Exodus) 6:1.

And AL’uah spoke to Moshah and said to him, “I am YaHU’aH.” “And I appeared to Abraham, to Yatschaq, and to Ya’aqob, as AL Shaddai (Genesis 17:1), but by My Name YaHU’aH I was not known to them.” Shamuth (Exodus) 6:2–3.

Before AHAYAH ASHER AHAYAH (“I Am He Who Exists”) was revealed to Moshah, He was only known to the people of the original promise as AL Shaddai—the Sustainer, Protector, and Provider. That is exactly who He was all the way up until the day He sent Moshah back to Mitsrayim with ten plagues upon the most powerful nation on the earth.

Later in the wilderness, Moshah declares, “For you do not bow yourselves to another mighty one, for YaHU’aH, whose Name is Qanna, is a jealous AL’uah.” Shamuth (Exodus) 34:14.

Nonetheless, because of the wickedness of the people who hijacked those sacred scrolls, many miss what was revealed right after “I Am Who I Am” was spoken. In the very next verse, the Most High tells Moshah, “And AL’uah said further to Moshah, ‘Thus you are to say to the children of Yashar’al, “YaHU’aH, the AL’uah of your fathers, the AL’uah of Abraham, the AL’uah of Yatschaq, and the AL’uah of Ya’aqob, has sent me to you.” This is My Name forever, and this is My remembrance to all generations.’” Shamuth (Exodus) 3:15.

Because of what the children of the devil were allowed to get away with—by YaHU’aH as a curse on the chosen people—the nations no longer remember Yashar’al. His Name was replaced in their translations with “lord” (which in Hebrew is ba’al). To this day, the struggle continues with trying to understand how His Name is YaHU’aH, yet the Scripture says “lord” in most Bibles rather than YaHU’aH. He first gave Moshah His ultimate title, then His actual Name.

So, as we carry on through history, we find that although YaHU’aH often made His titles known—titles that represent His character—His actual Name was only directly proclaimed to a small few, absent of every natural form of discovery known to mankind.

And the reason is truly vital, especially in these end times, yet it often goes unnoticed. Yahusha warned that in the last days, before the Great Tribulation, many imposters would come in His Name. MattithYahu (Matthew) 24:5.

When we go back over history, YaHU’aH has never sent many to proclaim any word. It has always been a small number. Though many have run, He never spoke to them. This is a sovereign act to preserve not just truth, but His true Name. This is why it is so clear to see that “jc” could have never been the true Name of the Messiah, nor any other name people claim to know through whatever form they profess to receive it—unless it was through direct divine revelation.

Now, since YaHU’aH does not change, let us understand and solidify exactly what happened—and why the prophecy of the Messiah was given the name Immanu’AL.

When Moshah was born, Pharaoh attempted to kill all the male children to prevent a promise of redemption and rulership by throwing them into the river. Moshah divinely survived. And when the time came, “I Am That I Am” and His Name was revealed to him—the answer that YaHU’aH gave and explicitly commanded Moshah to give to the children of Yashar’al.

The very same thing happened to Yahusha, the true Messiah, just all rolled into one divine experience—being that Him and YaHU’aH is one.

The prophecy tells of a Son who will be called Immanu’AL—“AL’uah is with us”—whose parents hid Him because Herod was also trying to stop the promise of kingship and redemption. However, Immanu’AL is not His Name, but a title, purpose, or objective He would fulfill—just as it was with Moshah, the savior called and sent by YaHU’aH for Yashar’al at that time.

This is why MattithYahu (Matthew) 1:20–23 declares:

“But while he thought about this, see, a messenger of YaHU’aH appeared to him in a dream, saying, ‘Yahusaph, son of Dawid, do not be afraid to take Miryam as your wife, for that which is in her was brought forth from Ruach ha’Qodash. And she shall give birth to a Son, and you shall call His Name Yahusha, for He shall save His people from their sins.’ And all this came to be to fill what was spoken by YaHU’aH through the prophet, saying, ‘See, a maiden shall conceive, and she shall give birth to a Son, and they shall call His Name Immanu’AL,’ which translates, ‘AL with us.’”

Just as it was with Moshah, whose name means “Drawn out” or “He who draws out,” so it was with Yahusha. The title of the objective is revealed first. Then the Name—enabling the power to execute that purpose, comes after, confirmed by the acts performed. Hence, the miracles of Moshah—the miracles of Yahusha.

Why is this so soul-vital today?

When Yahusha warned that many would come in His Name, He said they would inevitably fool many. How? Through signs and wonders. And here is the subtle truth—a crucial key that needs to be grasped and held tightly. Whether it was Moshah, Yahusha, or anyone before or after, those who were sent came bearing not just signs, wonders, and The Name, but also a testimony that was consistent with each other.

This was the light switch that made the clear-cut distinction between liars and truth-bearers, especially the wolves He warned the remnant about on the Mount of Olives.

Here is the reality that seals the matter: No single person ever recorded in the sacred scrolls ever performed a sign or miracle, claimed to come in His Name or titles, while failing to initially offer a consistent testimony of His direct and divine appointment.

So when Yahusha warned that “by their fruits you will know them,” He was not simply speaking of their actions—He was speaking of their words. MattithYahu (Matthew) 7:16–20.

This is why He tells the Pharisees: “You brood of adders! How are you able to ‘speak’ what is good, being wicked? For the mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart.” MattithYahu (Matthew) 12:34.

Yahusha points to the heart as the true root of testimony. And though only YaHU’aH can see the heart of man, the words that proceed from it—being the product of the heart—reveal whether or not someone has truly been sent.

Make no mistake. There is not a single time when a person—being evil—delivered a divine and explicit witness statement claiming they were sent by YaHU’aH, then confirmed it with signs and wonders consistent with the qodash ones of old.

So, when it comes to His Names and titles, the pattern of deliverance is clear: First comes the title or mission objective, then comes the Name—the authority and power to walk in that purpose.

YaHU’aH was removed from the written word and replaced with “god” or “gott.” Yahusha was replaced with “jesus.” Remember, this was more than just the work of the wicked. When the children of Ya’aqob were in the wilderness, one of the curses of Dabarim was that they would serve deities neither they nor their fathers had known. Dabarim (Deuteronomy) 28:64.

That declaration came after Egypt but before Babylon, where ba’al worship was forced upon the people. It carries through to this very day, where “lord” (ba’al in Hebrew) is still proclaimed by the masses.

Nevertheless, just as in the days of Moshah, so also it is in these last days. There is a remnant across the nations who—despite the curses, despite the deliberate twisting of the Names and the truth—have had the true Name Yahusha revealed to them: YaHU’aH saves.

And how does YaHU’aH save? Always after judgment, through His righteous indignation.

From Mitsrayim to Babylon to this present hour, before He sends destruction, He awakens, gathers, and sends messengers. These messengers come with a consistent call carried throughout the ages: Let go of His people. Hide in His obedience. Prepare to witness His hand.

And it is “I AM THAT I AM” who sends them, bearing witness of His explicit calling from His throne, followed by undeniable proof. These are the ones who, before all is shaken, overcome the wicked one by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. Revelation 12:11.
